Fountain Hills Theater presents the Neil Simon comedy, The Sunshine Boys.
“Lewis and Clark” were top-billed vaudevillians for more than forty years. Now they aren’t even speaking. When CBS requests them for a “History of Comedy” special, a grudging reunion brings the two back together one last time. Starring FHT Artistic Directors Ross Collins and Peter J. Hill, Neil Simon’s comedy hilariously explores the memories and laughs of a lifelong relationship.
FHT is delighted to have their Artistic Directors play these iconic roles. Since the two first appeared on stage in “Anything Goes” at the A La Carte Players in the 1980s, Hill and Collins have worked together for close to 40 years. The Sunshine Boys is presented through Special Arrangement with Concord Theatricals and is directed by Noel Irick. Suggested for ages 14+.
The Sunshine Boys will play June 13 – 29, 2025. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. All performances take place in the Ross Collins Playhouse at Fountain Hills Theater, 11445 N Saguaro Blvd, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268. Reservations: (480) 837-9661 x3 or visit https://fhtaz.org
