Coca Cola memorabilia at Phil’s Filling Station decorates nearly every nook and cranny of three entire rooms in the diner-style Fountain Hills restaurant. The collection of bottles, tins, serving trays, abstract art, and large framed puzzles depicting scenes and logos from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, is courtesy of owner Phil Rodakis, who has been collecting the memorabilia since the restaurant opened in 1997. The Fountain Hills Artists Gallery: A riot of color featuring local artists

Visitors who wish they could take some of Fountain Hills’ beauty and charm home with them are in for a pleasant surprise. There’s a very good chance they’ll find a unique memento at the Fountain Hills Artists Gallery, conveniently located on Avenue of the Fountains.

The non-profit gallery is a co-op of approximately 30 local artists who work together to showcase their respective mediums and styles including wall art, sculpture, jewelry and ceramics, featuring mosaics, glass, fiber, gourds, and other materials. Read More...

RIVER OF TIME MUSEUM

River of Time Museum and Exploration Center: for kids and history buffs of all ages

Fountain Hills’ rich history isn’t immediately apparent in its current landscape, which is why curious visitors of all ages will enjoy exploring the River of Time Museum and Exploration Center.

The museum began when the Fountain Hills and Lower Verde River Valley Museum and Historical Society incorporated in 1991. In the beginning, the museum shared a trailer near the World-Famous Fountain where they kept a small history display. In the late 1990s, the Society worked with the Town and Maricopa Library System to secure a bond to build its current building, located at 12901 N La Montana, next to the Fountain Hills Library, which opened in 2001.
