Discover the magic of the Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts, a beloved tradition in naturally beautiful Fountain Hills, Arizona. For over 50 years, Fountain Hills, Arizona, has welcomed hundreds of artists and hundreds and thousands of visitors from around the world to enjoy fine arts and crafts. This one-of-a-kind craft fair boasts work in every medium and offers home goods, gourmet snacks, gifts, and fine art in every price range. Enjoy the full Friday through Sunday event, or plan a day trip with your family to participate in this sensory experience.


The Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts event started in 1974 with just 60 art vendors. Now, with over 500 global artists and artisans participating each spring and fall, you are bound to savor every moment. Enjoy live music as you stop between booths or lay under the sun at Fountain Park, home of the 3rd largest fountain in the world. Find food and drink booths and trucks for every meal throughout the event.

Admission and parking are always FREE at The Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts. While browsing the diverse selection of art is free, remember to bring cash or a card to purchase food, drinks, and any artwork that catches your eye.

Where to Park at the Fountain Hills Arts Festival

Fountain Hills, Arizona, offers free parking throughout the town for the annual Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts. To get parking next to the event, arrive early and park at the River of Time Museum’s parking lot or any of the municipal buildings around Downtown Fountain Hills. To be close to Fountain Park, you’ll want to leave your car at the park’s parking area, designated spots in Downtown Fountain Hills, or utilize street parking around the fountain.

With over 100,000 visitors in our last event, you may need to park further away from the event area. Most shopping and business centers offer free parking. We recommend you wear tennis shoes for comfortable walking to and from your car and around the arts and crafts fair. People may walk anywhere from a half mile to four miles at the event. The event area is about 2.5 miles round-trip.

Road Closures

Several roads are closed throughout the duration of the Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts event to ensure visitors’ safety. You can follow the festival’s Facebook or Instagram page for updates or visit the same parking map to view road closures and plan where to park.

Public Bathrooms

Fountain Hills offers outdoor public bathrooms around Fountain Park and porta potties with handwashing stations throughout the Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts event. All bathroom stations are sanitized and fully stocked with toilet paper and hand soap. Visit the same parking map to get directions for public bathrooms and the event’s porta potties.

If you are dining at a local restaurant, you will likely be able to use their inside facilities.
